Dangerous to know – Chloe Esposito ~ Blog Tour.

Back of the Book :

Once, serial killer Alvie Knightly was living the dream.

Unlimited cash.
An Italian getaway.
A hot new boyfriend . . .

How the mighty fall.

One year – and one very unfortunate incident – later, Alvie is homeless, surviving on meal deals, and counting her dwindling pennies.

It’s time for one last hit, and if anyone can pull it off – in six-inch heels – it’s Alvie.

But if she’s to succeed in her mission to avenge her ex, win back her money and secure her future, she’ll have to face her most terrifying enemy yet . . .

Her past.

What I think :

Alvie Knightly was a serial killer, she had it all.

A gorgeous house.

A gorgeous boyfriend.

Then something happened and now she has, well nothing, nothing at all.

Alvie wants revenge.

For her and for her boyfriend.

She hatches a plan but will she be able to follow through ?

She changes her identity and gets a job, at the Savoy no less. And pretty soon she’s up close and personal with her target …

Then her past rears its ugly head, will she be able to defeat her past before it catches up with her … ?

I quite enjoyed this book. It’s the last in a trilogy and I haven’t actually read the first two. But I was able to follow it as there are plenty of flash backs to help those who like me haven’t read the other two. It does work quite well as a stand alone.

Written from the point of view of a serial killer, its a very easy read. With Alvie all the time trying to justify why she’s doing this one last hit, it does make for some pretty interesting reading !!!

Whilst I enjoyed this book, I don’t think that I will be reading the other two books in the series, I found it slightly unbelievable in certain places and like it was really trying too hard. Sorry !

I give it 7/10
